Snow for Heather still

Just heard on the television weather that school buses have been canceled Heather, in your area north of/around the head of Lake Superior because of snow.  Will it ever end.  I was planting pansies while a friend was helping to clean and rake up the evergreen twigs and branches that came down this winter and many she had to dig out of the ice beneath the shade of the trees.  Today is April 25th is it not??

I am never never moving again.

Tomorrow is the day and my 2 sons plus one son in law arrived to help me plus a 2year old who had to come and see Nana. I am shattered I was being asked where did I want this and where did I want that. At one stage I was sitting in my chair and started to smooch the dog when I realised the hairs were curly???? it was my dear SIL no wonder they were odd. As most who have pets know it is automatic to rub the dog's back when you sit down. Well I messed that one up very well. He has a good sense of humour, needs it in this family. They did more while they were here than I did in a whole day. I have to pack for about 15 mins and then sit and recover for about the same. They don't know this and I am not telling them, my independence is precious to me Hugs Bee.

Springtime

"Well  it a lovely Canadian Spring.....4-6+" of snow expected (already falling since last night)."

Heather, for some reason that line makes me smile every time I read it.    ;-)  A lovely Spring is all in one's perspective, eh?

Our weather here has vacillated between 80sF and some chilly days.   As always the fescue lawn is growing so quickly that I can hear it growing, at night.  LOL Mowing every five to six days is not fun. Speaking of which .... I've got to go mow the lawn again today.    Ack.

Rosey - beware those innocent looking bunnies.  They have plans to eat your bedding flowers and drive the dogs mad.  LOL

One of my AOL email accounts got "spoofed" and I've had to change security question and then password.   When I "googled" the problem of people in my address book receiving strange spam emails with nothing but a link,  when the strange emails do not show up in my "Sent" folder (because I certainly did not send them!), this is called "spoofing."  Somehow my contact list was compromised and my email address was faked by these criminals.    Fortunately, I was not truly hacked and did not lose access to my account.
Be sure to change your security question and your passwords often, just in case.

Tree pollen here is quite heavy, as is normal.   In two more weeks, the worst will be over and I can mow grass without a dust mask and playing golf will be on my calendar.  Summer will be here before we know it!

Hugs to everyone!

Nightmares

You wonder where bad dreams come from !  I woke up this morning, my heart racing, in a panic, I was in a vacation home on the beach, high up from the water (my childhood cottage and beach) but the house was a bungalow, long and belonged to someone else.  I had let the dogs out in the morning, gone off somewhere, left them out all day, came back later in the afternoon, realized what I'd done and that I'd lost the dogs, I ran to the beach, calling them, couldn't remember their names, called all three shih tzus by their names (they are long dead though we moved to the country with the three of them 26 yrs ago) and finally remembered our current two, Annie and Meg, Australian Shepherds and that they were nowhere to be seen.  Then this rabbit, who looks like the two little rabbits living beneath our porches (although I haven't seen them in a few days and heard the coyotes up close at night last Sat. night and hope they didn't get either of them )...this rabbit came up to me, it was arthritic and wanted to be picked up.  I blamed myself for loosing our dogs and now this rabbit needed me.  I woke myself up at 5:30 this morning.  I was afraid to stay in my nightmare, early morning, mare...There seems no explanation sometimes for bad dreams but they are disconcerting.
