Happy Easter

And a happy Easter to everyone also, from Fla.
We are celebrating 33 years married today. Looking at the old pictures, can't believe how skinny and young we were. Of course, we didn't think we were young!
Going down to St. Augustine this afternoon to stay at a fancy B & B. I would rather be in a smaller, off the beaten path one, but DH wants to be on the intercoastal. This one has a large, private balcony where one can sit and look at the boat traffic, and the tourists walking by.
Hopefully I will get up in time for a sunrise service at the ocean. There is an old fashioned Easter parade on Sun. afternoon.
Don't eat too many chocolate bunnies.

Happy Easter, all

It doesn't seem possible that it really is springtime/Eastertime. Our weather has been so changeable. I guess that's spring, though. As the librarian in the little town where the cabin is says, "The first day of spring and the first day of spring weather don't necessarily coincide."

We returned yesterday from a week at the cabin. DH finally looked around yesterday morning and said he was TIRED of snow. It will be at least a month before we go back. Hopefully the snow will be gone by then.

The picture I'm including is of a pair of Canadian geese who were vying with another pair for the highest nesting spot they could find. I'm still trying to figure out how they get the little guys to the water when they are that high up. Sorry that the clarity isn't too great, but I was zoomed in as far as I could go.

Easter

Hi, my friends I would like to send my wishes for a wonderful Easter, get rid of those bad storms and find some spring weather. Lots of planting and if the weather is bad lots of quilting or reading. I think it will be reading here, forecast not very good and I will be getting new glasses before I even think of quilting my black quilt. Hugs to all Bee in a funny NZ.

Here I am, visiting

Hello, I am so loving all the pictures. It has been so cold here and like Rosey we had that weird snow days a couple of days ago. It is sunny this morning and I am hoping it will stay that way for today.

My knee replacement is doing very well . I keep bending and flexing my knee to see when the pain will start and there is none. Never thought I would go looking for it , but it is so amazing that I have none(in that knee anyway0 FANTASTIC.

If i c an figure it out , I will try to post a picture of my New York roundabout that I have been working on. I am doing the finishing bits of quilting. It has been fun, but I really need way more experience machine quilting.

Have a great day

Sore fingers & Dog grooming apron

I was asked to make another dog grooming apron for the US Australian Shepherd Association Junior Handlers event held in May of this year by my pup's breeder. So, my seventh dog grooming apron in the past year. I appliqued the units to a stiff piece of sparkly material. Never again on that kind of background material...too heavy and stiff. It looks nice but...one week of this and my fingers are sore. The pup's name is Sonny, a blue merle puppy of some years ago and used with permission of his breeder Cathy Davis of Melody Australian Shepherds.

We had whirling dervishes of blinding snow yesterday. It came in waves; one minute we could not see out the window for the curtain of snow, the next, the sun was out. Surely a sign of the schizophrenic month of April that we experience here in southern Ontario. But, the grass is greening up and I'm going to pot some pansies tomorrow...if it is sunny. Rosey
