For Mary Luney from MaryJoG
Dear Mary,
I am praying for you. Losing one's husband is a life changing
happening. Grief Share is a daily post that has helped me. If you want my list
of 'what to do now', let me know. Compiled it during my loss. Take time to
just breathe and let life's daily occurrences happen. Nothing has to be done
right now. Just let people love you and care for you.
Blessings,
MaryJo

Mary, I'm so very sorry to read of the loss of your husband. What a terrible time this must have been for you. Please know you are in my thoughts.
Sending you hugs,

It's not the heat, it's the humidity
I'm sorry also to hear about the death of a husband. Mary Luny you have our sympathies and prayers.
Driving as much as I do, car accidents scare me so much.
Today I went to see my Mom on the other side of town, about 1 hr. each way in all the 295 traffic, and I refuse to go over 65 MPH, when all about me go 70 or more, even the big trucks with full loads.
We have had an unusually hot June here. It feels like August, over 96 and 90
humidity. Had both little dogs' hair cut really short so they would be cooler.
Finished a small wall hanging and have it hanging up.
All for now.

I am more than happy to post for anyone who cannot get into this website to post, though for the life of me, can't figure out why Eric is not monitoring people's comments to try and explain why...maybe some internet services are not compatible with their server. My email address, as I've posted before, changing the
at to @ is: farmerswalkbandbatsympatico.ca. (Rosey/aka Sandy Small Proudfoot)
And here is Mary's email to me, will let Jean in Mill Bay know as well. Mary mentioned that other quilters have been notified but there may be some here who may not know of Charles's death:
Could you let them know that my husband, Charles, died May 18th after being in a
car accident on the 12th. He and a friend were waiting on the highway to make a
left turn when a woman going pretty fast, rear ended them. He had two broken
vertebrae in his back, two broken ribs, right elbow was broken, right knee was
broken. He had 11 staples in the back of his head and two stitches in his right
wrist. But he was doing well when he had pulmonary emboli that killed him. I miss him so much and I can see that life will never be the same.
