This is a simple throw size quilt I finished this past week.  started it last spring.  all scraps left over from  previous projects.  I had it machine quilted.  The picture quality isn't the best, but you get the idea.

Pat, it's just nice to see other people posting and being able to put their quilts up for all to see. I love the soft colours. I love traditional quilts. I am so concerned that traditional quilts are being overtaken by non-traditional 'art' type quilts. Without traditional quiltmakers, there will be no foundation upon which the next generation of quiltmakers will have the opportunity of learning how to quilt. "Art" quilts are exciting, interesting and not all 'art'. I don't like the term myself. I believe they should be referenced as non-traditional, as opposed to traditional.

Pat, that is a charming throw and all the more satisfying when made from "scraps" ! Maybe that can be my winter project, to put a dent in my "stash" and start some traditional quilts at the same time ! (dreams are free....!)

I love the soft pinks! This is a very pretty quilt and even better when made from scraps. :-)
