Not as innocent as he appears!

This guy looks innocent enough, but today I realize he's been torturing

& killing my Mason Bees as they emerge from their house & drop on to

the cement of the front porch! (My 1st outdoor cat, the feral Sylar!)

Oh, Jill, if only all feral cats could look as good as he does! He is lovely!

I have two ferals who regard my house as their safe place -- so they spend about half of their time outside and the rest hiding under furniture in my house. Getting in and out the doors is so traumatic for them -- they stand well back and then yowl for me to come and open the door and get the heck out of the area so they can come or go! They have lived in my house for almost two years and I can now pet one of them if she is on the bed she regards as safe...

Of course there are plenty of other cats here if I get a burning need to pet a cat. LOL

Jean, I can't imagine I'll ever get to touch this guy. He is still so scared of us. But you can tell he wants to be with you. My DH sits on the front porch with him now when he eats. Just very tiny steps forward. It will be interesting to see what happens when we put the cat house up outside this summer for the indoor crew.
I should takes some pictures of these cute little cat toys I've been getting. They would sell great at your fund raisers. They are little pillows, bows & knots made out of the cutest fun fabrics & are polyfill & cat nip. just the cutest!
