Your pictures, Marion, are wonderful. As our summer/fall is closing down, to see spring flowers is such a treat. Your tree below must be a cherry tree, right?? I've tried to figure out what my tree is (I planted it years ago) and I've bitten into the fruit. Tiny wee balls of dark crimson berries...they taste vaguely of cherries. It's a tree that grows upward rather than spreading its limbs that much...I recall seeing a name for that type of tree, like a torpedo...must Google it to see if I can find the name of the tree...it's sure gorgeous for about two weeks in May here.

Yes, it's a magical time of year with all the flowers and trees coming into their own..I take the photos with the IPad and it's easier for me to Post on that too. I still have trouble on the computer. Problem is the IPad belongs to the DH and isn't always available ! We've had some very cold days this week so I haven't been out in the garden much at all but I can see from the house, that things are still moving along nicely out there and there will be more colour to enjoy soon..
