What were you doing to get them to hold still?

Rosey-I can never get my two to hold still for a picture.  Was someone opening a bag of treats?
DH is doing P. Thera. this afternoon, and later we will be off to the beach for the weekend.  The girls love being on the sand because they think it is their own personal doggie park.  I have to take them out real early, about 6:30-7:30 before many people are out.  At 8:00 the police patrol in their ATVs, and they are supposed to be on leash.  Since they have gotten used to the area (took about 6-8 mo.) they will stay right in front of me and play with the big dogs.
I have lived in Fla. 40 years now,and must have finally setteled in.  This morning when I took them out for the AM walk said, gee not as humid out.  Turned on the weather chanel and it was 85% humid.  Low!  The masive rains have finally finished for a while.
Hopefully will be dry through the weekend.  We hope to ride bikes at low tide, but only in the evening.

Notice that pink slipper in the picture bottom right, Sara? Well, that happens to belong to Mary, our girls very most favorite person who comes every two weeks to help 'bottom-out' our mess and keep the house in good order. Mary shares dog bisquits, her lunch, whatever, with the dogs and it never takes a dog long to know who is a soft touch and who is not. Dog bisquits were held up above to catch their attention and sitting still for a few seconds is about all they can manage.

Sara - I completely understand about thinking how cool and nice it was outside, only to find it was 85% humidity. My theory is that it is all relative.

DH and I sat on our porch to eat breakfast, this morning. We both remarked that although we felt the humidity, it was also delightful.
81% humidity and 77°F. Yeeesh.

Yesterday it only got to 91°F with heat index at 100°F and, trust me, it was miserable on the golf course. I should have stayed home; shot a terrible score, too hot to care. At that time. LOL

I may not play again until the weather improves.

Speaking of golf, I didn't know DH was taking his clubs all the way to Colorado, along with the 2 bikes. Good thing we planed to leave dogs, there wouldn't be any room for them anyway.
