Home again

We spent the past week at the cabin. Very cold in the mornings with freezing fog, but by afternoon the fog burned off and we had some spectacular views of the Sawtooth Mountains. This shot was taken from our front yard. You can understand why we don't mind the cold when we have something like this to see out of the window.

It's in south central Idaho. If you locate Boise on the map and then go northeast from there, you will see the Sawtooth Wilderness Area and the Sawtooth National Recreation Area. That's where the town of Stanley is. If you just can't get enough of the area from my photo, here's a site that has tons of photos taken at all times of the year. http://www.sawtoothcamera.com/guest.html

You bet! There is even a quilt show in September every year. Quite small, but they usually have a couple of classes along with it. Interested in teaching something there, Sandi??? I know the people who put it on.

Kathi - Wow! What a beautiful view. I could live with freezing fog every day, for that gorgeous landscape.
