Saturday evening at the beach
Just watched one wedding on the beach, and another one is starting a little further down. Quite the fun watching everything. I went to sit and sew on Friday, and remembered to push my "trip" thing in on the odomotor, only 2 and 1/2 miles from here. Lots of talking and fun. I'm working on the binding for a summer wall hanging. Had a single girlfriend out yesterday evening, and the 3 of us biked up and down and then had wine and tacos on the balcony and sat and talked. Over the Memorial Day weekend the water was very rough, the rip tide warnings were posted, and two people drown in the areas nearby. Quite a hazard. One 11 year old boy was swept out to sea, and has not been seen. I've been walking the dogs on the beach about 7:30 or 8:00 a few times a week. They and I need the exercise. Getting more used to living here. Making plans to take the carpet out of the bedroom and put some type of wood down, to keep down the alergies. Also going to have some window treatments done. Something to keep out the hot morning sun, but can be raised after 12 noon, when the sun goes behind the building. Getting ready for 1 grandson to come visit. He will switch between us and the other grandparents for a month. Have no idea what he will do, but he is still doing some home schooling on the computer. Maybe her can give me come computer lessons! Sara - I heard about that child disappearing in the rip tide. So sad. I always wonder why people (his parents?) ignore the warnings.
