Packing day !

This was taken last year, when we were packing the blankets . We had the use of a warehouse for the day. Can't remember the numbers but I will make a note of them this year, they are always impressive.
My day improved ! The sun came out and I even spotted a solitary yellow crocus out in my garden ! Off out tonight to a local production of "Faulty Towers" ! That will be interesting!

Wonderful work.
You and the group should be proud of your efforts, and I'm sure they are appreciated.
Question--What is a "Peggy square"? I'm not a knitter or crochet person, so it is probably obvious to everyone else.
Cheers.

A "Peggy square" is what we call a knitted square.Usually about 10inches across and down. A set number of stitches and rows depending on the wool and the needles used. Just plain gather stitch . Most age groups can manage to make these and it's a great way of using wool scraps. Some poelpe choose to make an entire blanket and they mix and match wool and stitches with great imagination. I am constantly amazed by the beauty and variety of the work which comes in.
