http://www.factcheck.org/ is the site. From the site "Copyright © 2003 - 2008 Annenberg Public Policy Center of the University of Pennsylvania FactCheck.org's staff, not the Annenberg Center, is responsible for this material. We are a nonpartisan, nonprofit "consumer advocate" for voters that aims to reduce the level of deception and confusion in U.S. politics. We monitor the factual accuracy of what is said by major U.S. political players in the form of TV ads, debates, speeches, interviews and news releases. Our goal is to apply the best practices of both journalism and scholarship, and to increase public knowledge and understanding."There is misinformation being cleared up on both sides. It is more than ads and more than one page. In an age of biased journalism I find it useful to know the facts.

An open mind is a wonderful and all too rare thing! I checked out the factcheck site, read through a number of the articles, and was impressed with the non-partisan and scholarly approach. What a wonderful resource in an era and a culture that produce 2 year long election campaigns marred by filthy personal attacks and misinformation of every sort.
Our election campaign finished today. It lasted 37 days -- plenty long enough for the candidates to attend debates, make their speeches and distribute their platform information. Too long, actually, since the single biggest complaint I have heard about this campaign is that it has been painfully boring! LOL
Jean/Mill Bay, soon to turn on the TV to get the election results...
