.Helping in the garden !
WE have our DD#1 arriving for a short visit tomorrow. She hasn't been home for two years so not a blade of grass is to be out of place !! (As if she'll notice !). She arrived in Auckland on Friday and has had the wend with DD#2 and family. Judging by the instant photos that we have received they are having a great time together. We last saw her in Scotland Nov 2013 so it will be good to have her here. She is very good at emailing and skyping so we don't feel too out of touch with her and her family.
Sorry about the large photo. I can't find any indication on this IPad as to how to reduce the size. Any clues would be gratefully accepted !

Marion, do you know how himself trims the edges of our gardens? Takes the lawn tractor up and runs over the edges...god help any flowers that happen to get in the way. Wouldn't mind having your DH here to do the trimming, it never gets done.
I hope you enjoy your visit with DD1.

Thanks Rosey ! Maybe my man and his noisy machine is the better option !! Russell loves his lawn and enjoys doing the edges to set it off nicely. He has never been known to pull a weed out of the garden though.....that's where the real need is at the moment !!
DD arrived safely and it's lovely to have her here . She's a lively lass and full of interesting news and views...it will be "all go" while she's here . I went to bed a couple of hours ago couldn't sleep so am up again to make a cuppa ! I'll try again soon !
