From Mary Jo in Idaho

From cold, snowy Idaho. It was 40 today, amazingly warm and sunny. Melted the newest snow to fall. Subdivisions are not plowed here, so the streets are slushy and a mess. Freezing tonight will make them icy tomorrow. Our main roads and freeways are clear and dry. Candlelight service tonight was special. All the old carols to sing plus a narrative of the history behind each. Very different and interesting. The older I get, the more I love to learn about history. DH has had a good week. Not great, but with it and steadier on his feet. Appreciate both. When he does better, so do I. Am looking forward to a healthier new year... hopefully because of learning to handle stress. Wishing each of you a wonderful holiday full of family, friends and love. And quilting! Blessings, MaryJo
