Thank you, Lavinia, and Doris for your comments on Dorothy Price's quilt. I'm always astounded at what quilters will do with my designs and more than anything I appreciate the design credit they always give me when their quilt goes out on exhibit. Dorothy's designwork on the layout is very good, very well balanced visually. It's fun to see what others can do with elements of design.
And weather-wise, well, we are in the grey days of southern Ontario climatic regularity. Nothing surprising here as the sun hardly comes out during the month of December and into most of January. Time to quilt; keep busy.
I'll post another quilt design and show how someone took the original design and what she created...if I'm not taking up too much space here. It's an interesting layout.
