well, well well......
Seems that it wasn't a naughty elf after all. Just "Himself" thinking he knew what he was doing ! We have now got yet another system in place and it has taken ages for this to transfer to the BB page. However, at least I can see what I am posting ! This photo was taken way back in the Spring. I'll take some more current ones when I have a moment. The roses are past their best though now.
Time to get dinner !

Just beautiful. I think I posted a few months ago that my best GF's daughter was in N.Z. when the earthquakes hit. They were on the north island at the time. She posted such wonderful pictures. One Navy wife here was in Guam years ago and they visited N.Z and she said it remains the most beautiful place she has ever been.
Do you have any special Christmas things you do in the summer?

The countryside is beautiful here in NZ., but we struggle with the same social issues which beset most "western" countries. I've lived here for nearly 50yrs and have loved it. When I came, there wasn't much of a gap between rich and poor but that has changed in recent years. For most of us Christmas follows the English traditions, except for the food. BBQ's are favoured among the young and cold meats and salads among the older generation.

I don't know how I ran across this site but when I seen all that Green I was thinking of spring. wishing for it already. Ahhh the winter has not started yet really here in Michigan so we have a while for that. We don't have snow yet but it will be here soon and take forever to get back to that Greenco
