A Feast of Colour
I mentioned below about Jon Katz's Bedlam Farm Journal blog and I wanted to share his image of a flower as colour inspiration. Look at the gradation of red tints to red shades and the complimentary contrasting blue violet behind it. Quilters enjoy a feast of colour. I have no connection to his blog other than his photography is inspiring for me.

Wow, another gorgeous photo. A good (great) photographer knows how to frame a shot. It was no accident that the violet blue flowers were back there. This is the talent I lack with photos. I think my dog could take better ones.

Thank you for reminding me about that web-site. It's a gentle and inspiring one. The photos are always lovely and the glimpse of a different way of life is, somehow, comforting.. Love the two photos you posted.
