Pigeon Forge Show

Just learned my quilt (Appalachian Spring, To God be the Glory) has won a 3rd place ribbon in its category (quilted for hire) at the Pigeon Forge Show. I am very pleased and feel like all the work was an accomplishment. The machine quilter is beside herself since no one she quilts for has sent anything to a larger-than-local show. So we are both snoopy dancing today! I'll try to post a picture, I am not going to the show until Sunday in order to pick it up after the show. Lavinia-TN

I *love* this quilt! Gentle colours and a mix of appliqué and traditional patchwork -- it does not get much than that! :)

Lavinia, your quilt is absolutely beautiful! I gravitate more to those kind of colours so for me it is very eye catching. A lovely pic of you too and it's so nice to "meet" you. Your work is lovely. Thanks for sharing.

Lavinia, your quilt is beyooootiful! I'm impressed with the amount of time you must have spent making the log cabins as well as doing the applique work. The ribbon is icing on the cake for the quilt itself is certainly good reward for your labor. Good to see your pic, too!!
