WOW
When I saw your quilt, Rosey, I thought it was a photograph of an Inuit wedding. Clearly I was wrong on two counts but right as to my guess of ethnicity. There is one thing you must do with this marvelous work of art: share it with the NC Quilt Symposium. Please, oh please check the web site www.smokymtnquilters.org for all the information on entering quilt, insurance and shipping. One handed typing is a bit of a strain so I bid all of you a good day.

Jane, I will do this and check through with you later to confirm the one and same quilt. The outfit that I am making to represent my image of an amauti and trousers in the traditional Inuit winter clothing has turned out quite nicely. When I do submit my work, it is generally to the Mancuso International show in Santa Monica, CA. Last year, my outfit, The Raven, won an award for embellishment but on the whole, these two pieces of work may not be what quilt shows want to see as much as the traditional type of clothing. I'm hoping to submit my project to a Canadian show this year...whether it's accepted or not, time will tell. Anyway, my quilt work keeps me off the streets....(smile) and keeps me out of trouble.
Rosey
Jane, so sorry to hear that you have broken your wrist. Frustrating too, to be incapacitated in that way. Hope you've got some good books to read and some good neighbours to pop in to see you.
Marion.
