Lavinia, that it one very beautiful quilt. Congratulations and thank you for posting the photos. It's good to see something of each others work...Quilting is what brought us all together in the first place after all ! I know they post photos on the "other " page, but a sprinkling of them here would be nice too..
Congratulations again, Lavinia. You may want to see about getting 1.) the quilt appraised by a certified appraiser, and 2.) a separate rider on your homeowners insurance, for that quilt.
I am serious. Once a quilt wins a certain number of blue ribbons, it has a high market value. Fourteen ribbons is far more than needed to have this work of art appraised and insured. I would hate for a fire or other disaster (burglary, etc.) happen to your lovely quilt.)
