Taken from Lake Pukaki last week, on our way home from Queenstown. Beautiful isn't it ? We could see it for miles and miles, perfect conditions, cloudless blue sky. It's not always like that !
Still cold and wet here but the snow has gone, even the snow-man has disappeared !

Sorry Sarah ! Mt Cook is New Zealands highest mountain. It is situated in the South Island . My "posts" have mostly been about the planned trip of my DD#1 and family from H.K. They were here for three weeks, during which time we had a week in Queenstown which required us to take an 8hr drive from here . The photo was taken some 3hrs south of where we live..
